Ten Inventions That Have Made Life Easier

Let's see what I can come up with for today's Ten on Tuesday prompt. Some of these just make life a little more enjoyable!

1. Movable type - we wouldn't have books or magazines without it!

2. Disposable diapers - I know, not very green of me, but they definitely make my life easier!

3. Crock pots - I have two, and I used them both - A LOT. Makes cooking with a toddler around much easier and much safer. I realized over the weekend that Ladybug is tall enough to reach the edge of the stove. Yikes!

4. Flushing toilets - one of my favorite modern conveniences! And a companion invention...

5. Two-ply toilet paper!

6. Mini-vans - We only have one child to tote around, but we have lots of musical equipment that needs hauled from place to place.

7. DirecTv - Especially in the fall. We love to watch our football teams on the NFL Ticket, since neither are considered "local" teams.

8. Central air - it makes life a bit more comfortable.

9. Laptop computers - for blogging addicts, do I need to explain this one?

10. Down pillows and comforters - so snuggable!

How about you? What inventions make your life easier or more comfortable?

To go along with your flushing toilets & 2-ply toilet paper - disposable feminine hygeine products!! Can you even imagine going back to the days of rags & belts & stuff? Ew.

I think the internet and the lending library (thank's Ben Franklin!) would be on my list. As a homeschooling mom, I don't know what I'd do without either of them!
