100th Post!!! 100 Things About Me

As all good bloggers have done before me, here are 100 Things About Me:




1. I was born in Pennsylvania.
2. I graduated with a high school class of 73.
3. Yes, it is a small town.
4. We often saw tractors on main street.
5. I became a Christian when I was 8 years old.
6. I love me some football.
7. I love me the Steelers!
8. I am NOT a fair-weather fan.
9. I love me the Steelers whether they are good or not so good.
10. I wanted to be the first woman to play in the NFL.
11.Sadly, I chose marching band over football in junior high.
12. Yes, I am a band geek.
13. I was even the drum major.
14. And back then, we called it “Junior high” not middle school.
15. I graduated 3rd in my high school class.
16. I went to a small Christian college in Indiana.
17. I took the 5 year plan.
18. I had a double major in music and music education.
19. I then went to seminary in Kentucky.
20. I received a Masters of Divinity.
21. And now, I want to study for my Masters of Theology.
22. Yes, mom, I have become a perpetual student.
23. At least you’re not paying for it anymore!
24. After seminary, I moved back to Indiana.
25. I was an associate pastor in the United Methodist Church for 4 years.
26. Then I met my true love!
27. And he didn’t live in Indiana.
28. Nor did he want to live in Indiana.
29. So I moved to West Virginia.
30. Hubby was in graduate school at Marshall at the time.
31. So I also got my PHT degree (Putting Hubby Through).
32. Hubby and I met on a Christian singles website.
33. We married 11 months after we met.
34. We had a Christmas wedding, just like I had always wanted!
35. A year later, we moved to “the beach.”
36. Hubby had lived at “the beach” before grad school.
37. We now live 3 miles from my parents-in-law.
38. I have one older sister.
39. She’s a smartypants. (Just checking to see if you read my blog, sis!)
40. I love my sister.
41. I used to love beating up on her.
42. But she was a tattle-tail.
43. Now sister lives far, far away.
44. But not as far as before.
45. In 2004, our first daughter went to be with the Lord.
46. We still miss her.
47. But we are thankful for the ministry that has come because of her death.
48. Currently, Hubby and I lead contemporary (prefer to call it “modern”) worship at our church.
49. In 2007, our second daughter was born.
50. She is the joy of our lives.
51. I love being a mommy.
52. I love not having a corporate j.o.b. anymore.
53. I am a Mary Kay consultant.
54. For 6 years now.
55. I started to help my consultant earn her first company car.
56. Now I love my Mary Kay business!
57. I can minister to women through my business.
58. Previous jobs I’ve had: store clerk;
59. Restaurant hostess;
60. Tutor;
61. Gave private voice and saxophone lessons;
62. resident assistant in college;
63. student worker in the college admissions office;
64. live-assist operator for a Christian radio station;
65. church music director;
66. church worship leader;
67. associate pastor;
68. worked with mentally handicapped individuals;
69. that job was very challenging and rewarding!
70. store clerk again;
71. assistant store manager (woowee! I got promoted!)
72. office temp;
73. analyst.
74. I love to cook.
75. I have a recipe blog called On Pans and Kneadles.
76. Aren’t I funny?
77. When I was single, I drove a 1998 Red Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4 Pick Up Truck.
78. I was hoping it would be my man-magnet.
79. I didn’t need it after all.
80. It came in handy when taking youth groups on camping trips, though.
81. Now I drive a silver 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
82. It gets me from point A to point B.
83. I want to drive a Pink Cadillac someday!
84. Yes, I really do!
85. Leather seats clean up much easier than cloth.
86. Don’t you think a car seat would look stylin’ in a pink caddy?
87. I love coffee.
88. I love chocolate.
89. I love coffee and chocolate together.
90. I plan to host a Choctoberfest this year.
91. My hubby and I have a band called Psalm 151.
92. I love living at “the beach.”
93. Hubby would prefer to live in the mountains.
94. Where it snows.
95. I don’t like snow.
96. Did I mention that I grew up in Pennsylvania?
97. Where it snows?
98. And I lived in Indiana?
99. Where it also snows?
100. Aren’t you glad I’m done?
